Discover the Power of TV Advertising

  • Advertising on H&C
  • Specialist Stud Break
  • Restrictions

More and more companies in the equestrian sector are discovering just how effective TV advertising can be. On this page you will find details of our affordable and competitive rate card packages and see just how little it costs to reach the half a million viewers who tune into Horse & Country TV each month. And in the player below you can see some of the ads currently running on the Channel as well as a short introduction to H&C.

Advertising on H&C TV Costs Less Than You Think

Our rate card offers three basic tiers. As your TV campaign runs throughout the month, our audience has multiple opportunities to see your message, building awareness, impact and recall.

Moreover, over half of viewers now watch TV with laptop or smartphone to hand, so from seeing your ad on TV to purchasing on your web site is just a click away.

Our Rate Card

Level 1 | Sustained Presence
One 30" peak time spot (5pm to midnight) and one off-peak spot (all other times) per day.
Suits brands seeking a sustained presence throughout the year.

Level 2 | Brand Profile
Two peak spots and three off-peak spots per day.
A solid weight of advertising to keep your brand’s profile high, and the perfect complement to your regular print campaigns.

Level 3 | Make an Impact
Three peak spots and three off-peak spots per day.
Suitable for new product launches and reinvigorating brands that have lost a bit of profi le and sparkle.

Significant discounts are available for longer campaign durations, as shown below. Packages including online display advertising and e-commerce response can also be tailored to your requirements.

Level 1 (£s) Level 2 (£s) Level 3 (£s)
4 weeks 1,150 2,195 3,225
8 weeks 2,185 4,170 6,130
12 weeks 3,105 5,925 8,710

Sponsorship Opportunities

Programme sponsorship gives your brand a unique platform to communicate the values you stand for. As a programme sponsor on H&C TV, you get:

  • Sponsor credits at the beginning and end of the show, and around all ad breaks, every time the show runs for a year.
  • Inclusion in all on-air promotions for the show: "Coming up at 9pm..."
  • Branding on all online communications about the show, including promotion to our 60,000-strong Facebook community.
  • Inclusion in all PR activity around the show.

Recent sponsored programmes on H&C TV include At Home with Carl Hester, sponsored by Saracen Horse Feeds, and Getting to Greenwich, sponsored by NAF.

Sponsoring 'At Home with Carl Hester' on H&C TV has helped to continue to raise the profile of the Saracen brand with our customers. Furthermore we've been delighted with the response levels we've seen, with significant peaks in our web traffic when the show is on air.

Jim Scott, Commercial Director, Saracen Horse Feeds

We used a 30 second ad on Horse and Country TV to launch the Spanish Riding School 2011 Tour. The campaign has been a huge success. In the first week we sold well over what we would consider the norm. There was no other advertising placed for the event so it can only go down to the presence on H&C TV.

Martin Fredrick, Event Manager, Live Nation

We are launching a new brand on a tight budget so standing out and making an impact is critical for us. We are delighted at the value of the TV package that H&C has delivered and the team there couldn't have done more to help us get on air. I'd be happy to show you our ad and to tell you all about it at stand B4.1 at BETA.

Robert Walker, Director, Clean Round

I am so pleased with the stud break advert for King Cotton Gold. As you know I am not a huge breeding outfit and don’t have thousands to spend, but this has been a really cost effective use of my limited marketing budget! I very much hope to do something similar next year also.

Sonya Cunningham, King Cotton Gold (Stallion)
