Guadalajara has been stripped of its right to host the 2015 FEI World Cup Jumping and Dressage finals.
The Mexican city was awarded the event in June 2012, but according to the FEI it was unable to meet all of the contractual obligations.
"The FEI truly appreciates the efforts that the Guadalajara organisers put in to try and meet all the requirements," said FEI secretary general Ingmar De Vos. "But as they were unable to fulfil them within the agreed timeline, the FEI Bureau was left with no choice but to withdraw the finals.”
