“With the summer season now over, we had a chance to relax and enjoyed having a fairly easy week last week. With the three horses that went to the Nationals (Wiz, Del and Bracks) having a well deserved break, it only left me with the other youngsters to bring back into work. So, in that sense, I don’t really have anything exciting to talk about with regards to the riding (no, I didn’t fall off or anything like that either!).

World Class

However, I have got some very exciting news... firstly, I am through to the final selection trial for the World Class programme. These are held at the beginning of November so fingers crossed for that.

Guinea pigging for the best

Also, I have been asked to be a guinea pig at this year’s National Convention with Del (Headmore Delegate). The trainer this year is Laura B’s trainer Klaus Balkenhol, and Laura B is one of the other guinea pigs. Needless to say as I’m sure you can imagine, I feel very honoured to have been asked and I’m really looking forward to it.”
