Watch the legendary Edward Gal's fascinating masterclass from Olympia 2009.
Here Edward shares some of his training secrets aboard Moorlands Totilas' half sister, Sisther de Jeu, a ten-year-old mare by Gribaldi x Amor.
H&C also caught up with Edward for an exclusive interview.
Could we see anything more sympathetic and beautiful, I think not. Brilliant.

wow! This is the best. Love it that he is wearing a Helmet!
edward gal is awesome!!!!
i just got a new horse named jiggy!!!!!
lovely masterclass really enjoyed watching this he is a fantastic rider
And how lovely that the horse was a hyper mare! How sweet of him to admit that he was looking for the control he did not always feel he had. For me the best moment was the exit - she was obviously tanking, but he sat and smiled and patted her. Wonderful!
What an amazing rider, you enspire people so much and your horse is gawjus x
Mr Gal you're a fantastic rider, thanx for this demonstration, for your horses and your "tact"!
amazing!!!! wonderfull rider and trainer,
plus que magnifique
sublime
Beautiful horse.
Wonderful stuff; what a gorgeous horse... I love HnC
I like Edward Gal !! It's best rider !!!!
hat good good.
totally agree with the hat thingy
hes so funny (in a good way)
he makes the interviewer look really short!!!!!!!
Totaly great, as if it all is as simple as that...! We`re proud of our Eddie!
Helemaal geweldig, alsof het allemaal zo eenvoudig is...!
I like the way he wears a proper hat, despite "only doing dressage". All dressage riders should do this, gives a good impression for the younger riders.
Edward, we already loves you but now you must have stolen the hearts of the englisch people.
Great how you took your time to let sither relax (we know how unrealaxed she can be).
Great explaination for me (als dressage rider) and my mother (a horse lover but nothing to do with dressage). We both learnt a lot.
(I hope everthing goes well the next period and you finally can compete on the olympic). Dat gun ik je zo!
yesh. but no need to rush dese tings.
He has to be the ultimate rider at the moment.
when is the masterclass shown on tv ? this is amazing
Edward you are fabulous and we love you. And thanks for bringing your beautiful horses to London!
