As the previous owner of angel i can confirm that this horse did load both horsebox and lorry,
she was never put on a horsebox for four hours this is all lies. the problem was bbrought on by caitlin as i had never experienced any problems with her and before we got her she was off a hill about a 3 minute drive fform where she was kept please remove this video as it is lies !!!

i would show them how i could walk up the ramp and stay there; no harm done aswell as making bad things hard and good things easy with praise along the way. didnt watch all of this, 2 long.!*****

This is a great segment depicting how to load a horse's body without realizing that loading the mind is more important. It's also a great depiction on how to teach a horse to pull against a person, gimicky halter and all.

You might be able to drag the horse into the trailer like this, but he likely won't haul well afterwards.

wow! I have never tried to load my mare. I just got her last year but hoping she'll be an easy loader when comes time to load, and if shes not then ill have to try your techniques

What happened to the "make them work" theory? You know, if they refuse to come forward, back them up and then try again, walking the horse up to and back off/out of the trailer until eventually the horse is just like "let me on that trailer" and they practially load themselves???

I'm not too impressed with this demo. Kelly seems to have lost the original Monty Roberts methodology and now just works by positive punishment (addition of aversive stimulus, i.e. pressure from halter, when they perform the 'wrong' behaviour) and negative reinforcement (removal of aversive stimulus, i.e. pressure, when they perform correct behaviour). How is this different from the more 'traditional' methods of using a whip or harsh punishments when the horse doesn't do as we want?

It's a shame really as there are much better ways of working with a horse...praise and rewards being high up in the list!

i own a 2yr old its taken me a long time 2 get him 2 go in the trailer,my problem now is getting him to stay in the trailer,he backs out when e has been in for a few mins,i dont want to scare him by just shutting him in there.
