To our British and Irish breeders, we extend a very warm welcome to the largest stallion Expo in the British Isles. You will find over 100 stallions from the UK, Ireland and Europe, including young talents, performers and confirmed sires all under one roof. Additionally there will be over 30 trade stands, with exhibitors including AI centres, Embryo transfer centres, Stud farms, Stallion owners and agents, Studbooks and Nutrition companies. The Expo will take place over the weekend of 13th and 14th February 2010, with the stallions being shown on both days.

Our aim is to provide you with the most educational day of your breeding career, by putting the stallions and exhibitors in the same room at the same time, along with important guest speakers from the breeding world. You can select the stallions you want to see from the UK Breeding Guide, whilst being able to drop into any of the stands which catch your interest in between.

You will get to see each stallion presented for 5 minutes on both days, in a superb environment, over fences, on the flat or in hand. On the Saturday we will hold a Gala evening, with champagne and a presentation of four top dressage stallions who will perform to music. We have already booked World Champions, European Champions, National Champions and Olympians as well as stallion approval winners and top young performers from all over the UK and Europe

PRIZE DRAWS: each day lucky visitors will win one of several breedings from a selection of stallions at the show!!!

The UK Breeding Guide

This publication is designed to provide breeders with a definitive reference to the UK market, with each presented stallion having a full, factual stud card, detailing his bloodlines, performances, offspring and motherline production. Additionally there will be superbly written articles from leading industry professionals, breeders and stallion owners. Unlike the weekly or monthly magazines, this guide will spend the whole of each breeding season on your coffee table or desk, in fact you’ll probably never let it leave your side!

We will include profiles of UK’s leading studbooks, so that you understand what they actually do, articles about the PHSP and the BEF Futurity. We will take an in-depth look at what makes a successful breeder as well as asking some of the more searching questions concerning the industry and its direction. It promises to be punchy and to the point, whilst informing and educating. As with Europe, this will become the definitive text for breeders, stallions owners and industry professionals.

Additional notes

The UK Stallion Expo 2010, will be the first of its kind ever held in the UK.

It is your biggest opportunity as an owner to get your stallion in front of the largest number of UK and Irish mare owners ever.
Far more cost effective and interactive than advertising in the magazines, you will actually get the opportunity to meet, discuss and promote your stallion with thousands of potential clients in a comfortable indoor environment, amidst a positive atmosphere and surrounded by other industry professionals.
Pure magazine advertising cannot offer you this.

Each stallion will be presented on both the Saturday and Sunday and will have five exclusive minutes in the 60 x 20m ring each day, with a professional running commentary of his bloodlines, competition and production successes.
Visitors will permanently be in the main hall at the trade stands or watching the stallions, you will have their undivided attention.
