Jamie had his first experience with horses at the age of six, when he was encouraged to attend riding lessons by his mother; who herself was an accomplished horsewoman.

Jay was born in South London to non-horsey parents, and his family moved to Essex when he was two years old. There he became entranced with a little chestnut pony he saw every day on his way to school.

John is a living legend in the world of International show jumping. He is one of the most admired riders in the world and has won 14 team medals at Olympic, World or European championships in his long career.

Horseball competitor Judith Lucas is 22-years-old and has riding since she was five. As a child, she took part in the usual children’s activities in the Pony Club, before discovering horseball.
