Community Guidelines

Put simply, just treat others with respect.

H&C gives you a place to enjoy great content, and to meet and interact with others who share your passions. Like any community, while you may have different opinions from others and engage in passionate discussions, it’s important to be tolerant of others’ point of view and respect their rights to express them.

Here’s some common sense rules we expect you to follow:

• Do not harass, abuse or threaten others.
• Do not post content that is obscene or otherwise objectionable.
• We defend everyone's right to express unpopular points of view, but we will not tolerate racism, sexism, homophobia or other forms of hate-speech, or content that could be interpreted as such.
• Everyone hates spam. Do not use our services for commercial or advertising purposes, or for any illegal purposes, and, please do not post in quantity through automated methods.
• Stay on topic. If you want to discuss a topic that is not related to the community area in which you are participating, please go to the relevant topic area.
• Don't post content that infringes the legal rights of others, such as material that is defamatory or that makes use of copyrighted content without permission from the owner. Do not reveal personally identifiable information linked to other users and
• Be cautious when disclosing personally identifiable information on a publicly accessible or shared area. Remember that this information may be publicly accessible for a long time.

H&C does not review nor edit the content of every post in the communities before it is published on the website. However, in the case that H&C notices or is made aware of postings that violate these guidelines and/or the Terms or Service, it reserves the right to (a) edit or remove the posting or (b) delete, without notice, your H&C account and everything associated with it.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, events submitted to H&C for publication will be sent to a moderation queue and the user who submitted it will be notified via email when an editor authorises its publication.

We rely on our users to report abusive, offensive or otherwise inappropriate comments when they spot them, so if you find something that violates the TOS, please report it to our Customer Care team.

Remember that this is your community, so make the most of it.
