To herald the return of the British Open Show Jumping Championships to the NEC this Easter and in a bid to get more people riding, the organisers have teamed up with the British Equestrian Federation (BEF) to offer a 10% discount off lessons this half-term at regional riding schools in the West Midlands.

The British Open and the BEF have listed eight BHS and ABRS approved riding schools in the West Midlands area. The schools will have a limited number of family tickets for Sunday 19th April’s show to give away to those that book.

The British Open is a great family day out featuring the best show jumpers in action, exciting equestrian displays and entertainment, including a celebrity arena polo match featuring Katie Price and Gladiators’ Siren, Amy Guy.

Getting the right start, good basics and sound tuition are essential if you are novice or returning to the sport after a long time off. Choose British Horse Society and Approved British Riding Society approved centres to be sure the centre has been checked and meets approved safetly standards.
