This year's Hickstead is set to be a congregation of some of the hottest names in show jumping, according to the riders' lists released this week.
Sparring partners William Funnell and Geoff Billington - who seem to take it in turns to lift the Derby trophy - have both entered three horses each, as has Ireland's Shane Breen.
The Whitakers will be making the event a family affair, with Ellen bringing three horses, two of which are owned by Steven Whitaker, and Joe, Michael, Steven and Robert all riding one horse each. William Whitaker is also riding three horses - all of which are owned by Michael.
Robert Smith, Louise Pavitt, Ben Maher, Di Lampard and Billy Twomey will all be riding at the event too.
