William Funnell ended an exciting Hickstead Derby with a thrilling clear round to win the competition for the second year in a row. William and his partner, Cortaflex Mondriaan, were the last to enter the international arena and the pressure was on: William knew he had to go clear to win.
The win is William’s third at Hickstead, having taken the trophy in 2006 and 2008. He beat William Whitaker and Guy Williams who took equal second on four faults each.
