The build up for Olympia, The London International Horse Show (15th – 21st Dec 09), has started and H&C is excited to read the nominated entries for the FEI World Cup Dressage qualifier and the Rolex FEI World Cup™ Jumping qualifier. The event promises to be a star studded start to Christmas, with all the greats lining up to compete.

The FEI World Cup Dressage starts on Tuesday 15th December with the Grand Prix, where 16 competitors from six nations have been nominated, including the electrifying combination of Edward Gal and Moorlands Totilas. The top 15 will then qualify for the Grand Prix Freestyle to Music phase (Kür) on Wednesday 16th. The UK presents a particularly strong team, with Laura Bechtolscheimer, Carl Hester and Richard Davison all competing.

Jumping begins at Olympia from Thursday 17th December, with the Rolex FEI World Cup™ Jumping taking place on Sunday 20th. 60 competitors from 17 nations have been nominated. The UK fields a strong line up again with four Whitakers, Ben Maher, Tim Stockdale and Geoff Billington all competing.
