Ahead of next week's London Olympia International Horse Show, British Dressage and British Showjumping are asking everyone to dress up for the festive season.
With a host of International riders set to descend on Olympia next week BD and BS are launching a joint cause - asking British supporters to get into the festive spirit and display their loyalties by wearing red. The colour has been chosen as the most eye catching of the union jack and both disciplines’ logos. BD and BS hope that a bold statement from the home crowd should give British riders a real boost.
British Dressage Marketing Manager Claire Booth said: “At the European Championships this year the Dutch supporters were unmissable in their swathes of orange. Our own supporters are just as loyal in spirit and it would be fun to set a similar tradition. If anyone is heading to Olympia next week we hope they’ll join in and wear red with pride!”
