With the New Year rapidly approaching, time is running out to enter the world’s largest dog show - DFS Crufts 2010.
The Kennel Club claim that DFS Crufts provides the ideal opportunity to celebrate happy, healthy dogs and the many benefits which the show ring brings to dogs, but the RSPCA argue that the show encourages deformity in dogs through irresponsible breeding.
Eligible dogs that have qualified during the year or that are entered in the Kennel Club Stud Book can enter the show until 8th January 2010 via the post or online at the link below until 15th January.
Ronnie Irving, Chairman of the Kennel Club, said: “Crufts 2009 was a great celebration of healthy dogs and saw thousands of dog lovers taking a stance against our critics and naysayers by making the Crufts entry one of the biggest on record."
DFS Crufts will take place from 11th to 14th March 2010.
