British Eventing have announced an exciting new auction prize to raise funds to send the British Team to the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in Kentucky, USA 2010.

Eventing and racing fans will jump at the chance William Fox-Pitt and Alice Plunkett have offered as auction prizes: a day with the Fox-Pitt Eventing team supporting William at a One Day Event! This is a great opportunity to spend “a day in the life” of a member of William Fox-Pitt’s support team and learn about the preparation and hard work that goes into competing at the top level.

William has had a hugely successful career to date, including team Bronze at the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008, a further team Gold at the European Championships in Fontainebleau in 2009 followed and more recently he won the CCI4* event in Kentucky, 2010.

Also up for grabs is a fantastic opportunity to see how Channel 4 Racing is filmed by spending the day with Channel 4 presenter Alice Plunkett while she films the show.

Other current auction prizes include: two members tickets for the 2011 Polocrosse World Cup, an original commissioned work of art by internationally renowned artist Jo Campin, a presentation kit of classic Battles Lincoln products as used by Piggy French and her team and exclusive Thermatex Team GBR Dog Rugs.
