If you have a retrained racehorse and plan to compete him at Osberton in October, then you could be in line to win a prize.
Lycetts has announced today that, in conjunction with the charity 'Retraining of Racehorses' (ROR), a prize will be presented to the best re-trained racehorse in each of the Lycetts Young Horse Championship classes at Osberton in October.
Anna Bates from Lycetts comments: "As specialist insurers to the racing world, it is particularly appropriate that Lycetts and the ROR should provide a prize for the best ex racehorses at our Finals in October. This will reward those who have put the effort into retraining a thoroughbred and also brings people's attention to their versatility and the wonderful work that the ROR does in looking after and re-homing horses."
To be eligible for this prize, horses must have raced under rules in the UK and be registered with the ROR. This can be done free of charge on the ROR's website ROR.org.uk.
