Anky will now represent the Netherlands in a second discipline

Having previously been announced as the reserve for the Dutch team for reining for the World Equestrrian Games in Kentucky, Chef d'equipe for the Dutch reining team, Caspar de Jonge, has now asked Anky van Grunsven to be part of the team.

She will fill the place of Jurgen Pouls who has unfortunately had to withdraw.

Whizashiningwala BB will be her mount and has had all the preparation vaccinations as they were the reserve combination.

Anky, 42, took up reining ten years ago. She is better known as a dressage rider, having won numerous team and individual medals, but she did not qualify for this year's team, after her top horse, Salinero, sustained an injury to his withers.
