BE has undertaken major reviews

British Eventing (BE) has announced that long standing sponsors and supporters of the former Junior Regional Novice (JRN) series KBIS are broadening their support to become sponsors of the U-18 Eventing Team Championship and BEU18 Regional Series. The Championships will continue to be held at Weston Park International in October which was home to the JRN Championships.

Major changes

In May this year, BE undertook a major review of the Youth Programmes to ensure they continue to function fully and benefit as many U-18 riders as possible in a sport which has changed dramatically in the last 10 years.

Looking to the future

KBIS have been a major part of this change and are looking forward to having an increased association with the new structure. Guy Prest, managing director of KBIS said of their furthered partnership: “KBIS is delighted to continue supporting the under 18 events in its new and much extended format. Our sponsorship of the JRN series for the past four years has shown us how important the support and training available to junior riders is to the sport's future health. It has also been very rewarding to see that many of the top under 18 riders develop into the stars of the future.”

Details of how to sign up to the new format U-18 Eventing are available on the BE website. Details of all training that is taking place within the new U-18 regional structure will be also on the website.
