Friday's Olympia programme began with the popular Accumulator class, with a field of 32 riders starting.
Great Britain took the top three spots in the nail biting contest, which saw riders jumping against the clock while gaining points for each fence they cleared. If a pole fell, their marks froze until the next cleared fence, and a refusal lost them four points.
The water fence, the second part of a related distance combination, caused problems for many riders. From where H&C was sitting, it looked as though the distance for some horses was three and a half strides causing some riders to decimate the fence, costing valuable marks.
The top three places went to Great Britain. Guy Williams thrilled the crowd with his own Titus, taking the short routes at great speed. Guy finished on 36.09 seconds and 44 points. Fellow Brit Laura Renwick took longer lines with her husband's Roller Coaster II, but led the field for some time. She finished on 37.74 and 44 points.
Winner of last night's Speed Stakes, Ben Maher finished on 37.77 with Lynsey Cook's Oscar IX.
