H&C is delighted to hear that Totilas is a daddy! Dressage website www.dressage-news.com reported that Moorlands Stables announced the birth of Totilas' first foal after she arrived safely on Sunday morning. See photos of Totilas' first foal below.

Filly fantastic

The foal, a bay filly, has been named Moorlands Guinevere and is out of the elite mare Moorlands Sajouti (Clavecimbel x Flamingo). One of the first visitors to meet the new arrival at the University clinic for animals in Utrech was Edward Gal. See the photo of Edward and Guinevere below.

“They did a very good job last year with the insemination of the mares,” Moorlands Stables said in a news release. “Therefore we thought it would be wise to bring the mare in her last period back to the clinic.

“It is very special to breed a foal of Totilas and we are very happy that everything went well.”
