Lee Pearson CBE, the multi gold medal winning paralympic dressage rider, will adorn the cover of one of the BT regional directories, the company has revealed.
BT has unveiled that Lee is the new face of its phone book in Cannock, Lichfield and Walsall. The nine-time gold medallist will adorn the directory that will be distributed to residents and businesses in the Midlands communities in the coming weeks.
Pearson is the most successful Paralympic dressage rider in the world, having amassed 27 gold medals since he made his debut in the international sporting event in 1998.
He achieved a haul of three golds in each of the 2000, 2004 and 2008 Paralympics and is best known for his partnership with the charismatic Blue Circle Boy.
His image can also be seen gracing the front of the listings publication in areas such as Dudley, Shropshire and Worcester.
Chief executive of BT Directories David Grossman said: "We hope everyone gets behind the athlete that features on the front cover of their own phone book - it would be great if this inspires young hopefuls in the world of sport."
