H&C is crowned Best Specialist Channel at the BDAs

H&C is celebrating this morning after being crowned Best Specialist Channel at the Broadcast Digital Awards last night.

The awards celebrate the best in the digital broadcasting industry and the ceremony is one of the most anticipated events in the UK digital broadcasters' calendar. The Awards brought together just under 500 of television's most influential individuals to celebrate and recognise the achievements of 19 of the most innovative and passionate broadcasters and programmes - and H&C was named as one of the 19. 

Wonderful recognition

Head of programming Jonathan Rippon said: "We are thrilled to have won Best Specialist Channel at the Broadcast Digital Awards 2011. It's wonderful recognition of the hard work that the team at H&C put into making the channel as good as it is. We also accepted the award on behalf of everyone who produces and stars in our shows, our loyal audience and our 60,000 Facebook fans and Twitter followers."

The award follows H&C's recent success in the Equestrian Social Media Awards, in which we won Best Use of Twitter, proving that 2011 really is an award winning year for H&C.
