The final class of day four of HOYS kept the crowd on the edge of their seats, with 25-year-old Scott Brash nicking a win by just 0.01sec. The unusal format in the jump-off meant that riders could choose their own course, adding to the excitement, but giving riders drawn later a distinct advantage.
Billy Twomey, riding the stallion Romanov II, looked unbeatable after his round. He took a route Shane Breen told us "couldn't be bettered", but Scott proved him wrong, finishing 0.03sec faster than Billy. Sam Hutton looked to be even faster still but the clock was stopped just a fraction of a second after Scott's time, leaving the young rider from Scotland in pole position.
Watch our interview with Scott to find out how he decided which line to take, what Bon Ami is known as at home, and why Scott is a favourite with the H&C team.
One of the most exciting classes of the show is the Five Fence Challenge, we caught up with joint winner William Funnell to find out more about the class - and what he bought wife Pippa for her birthday.
