Ben Maher scored the first home win yesterday evening at Olympia, when he raced to victory in the Christmas speed stakes.
Riding Milena 8, Ben made some spectacularly tight turns to finish on 48.72 sec - a whole 1.2sec faster than his British squad mate Scott Brash, riding Sebastian.
