There's been a number of high-profile purchases in the horseworld recently, with exciting new rides for Scott Brash and Piggy French, and footballer Wayne Rooney becoming a racehorse owner.
Major showjumping owners Lord and Lady Harris and Lord and Lady Kirkham have bought a new horse for Scottish rider Scott Brash, with the Olympics in mind.
Sanctos Van Het Gravenhof is a nine-year-old gelding, and he will be renamed Hello Sanctos. The Hello prefix is used by the Harrises and Kirkhams for many of their top horses - including Tina Fletcher's Hello Sailor.
Scott talked to H&C about the new ride:
Piggy French has just gained a new owner in top dressage rider Carl Hester.
According to a report in Horse & Hound, the horse is a five-year-old gelding called Beautiful Pleasure that Piggy will event.
"This is a very quality one, a real mover. If he doesn’t like eventing, I’ll have him back to do some dressage," Carl told H&H.
Piggy French was the first star of our series Getting to Greenwich, and both riders recently attended the launch of the series at the Electric Cinema in Notting Hill.

Wayne and Colleen Rooney have become the latest high-profile names to join the world of racehorse ownership.
The football star and his wife have bought an unnamed yearling which will be trained by Tom Dascombe at Manor House Stables, a yard owned by fellow footballer Michael Owen and Betfair founder Andrew Black. (Picture by Racing Post).
