After four sell out shows at London’s Wembley Arena in 2011, The Spanish Riding School of Vienna announce they will be bringing the famous Lipizzaner stallions back to the UK in November.
The venue will be in Birmingham at the National Indoor Arena, and dates are confirmed as 16-18 November.
Horse lovers are expected to snap up tickets in order to see the majestic, highly trained horses and riders of the 430 year old 'High School for Classical Horsemanship'.
Their show is an impressive display of classical equitation in the Renaissance tradition of the haute école. The stunning white Lipizzaner stallions and their riders perform with absolute balance and harmony.
All of their famous in-hand work and movements above the ground - such as the Capriole, Levade and Courbette - will be performed.
Nicki Chapman will be hosting the event and giving the audience a background to their wonderful story. She will be joined by Team GB Olympian Dressage rider Carl Hester and nine times Paralympic gold medallist Lee Pearson.
Carl and Lee will be demonstrating some of the dressage moves that the modern day sport practices – many of which are derived from the training and teachings of the Spanish Riding School of Vienna.
Tickets will be on sale from Friday 30 March, priced from £25-£65.
