Animal lovers should head to Earls Court Two this weekend (12-13 May) as The London Pet Show is coming to town, where you can meet all kinds of furry (and not-so-furry) friends.
There are four zones to explore; Discover Cats, Discover Small Furries, Discover Dogs and Discover Animals, which features aquatics and exotic pets. Each area will have a number of animals for you to meet, as well as displays, demonstrations and informative talks from experts on animal behaviour and how to care for them.
As well as advice and information they’ll be a lot of barking mad fun to be had. Britain’s Got Talent stars will be performing in Doggy Come Dancing. Donelda Guy and her two collies, Biba and Mega, will be putting on their dancing shoes along with Jackie Prescott and Tippy-Toes, who all appeared on the ITV talent show.
Joining them on stage will be dog trainer Mary Ray and her dog, Levi, who made a guest appearance in Will Young’s latest music video. The show will be hosted by BBC London's Barking Blondes, Jo Wood and Anna Webb, along with their celebrity mutts, Matilda and Molly.
You can also expect to see duck herding, rabbit show jumping, micro-pigs and miniature ponies. The mind boggles.
