Plenty of us dream of cantering along a beach on horseback - but not many of us would fancy doing it without the use of a bridle!
Equine Behaviourist Emma Massingale and her 'free riding' team of horses went to the beach recently for their first coastal training session - a true test of obedience for the equine team.
“There are very few words that describe what it is like to canter along a beach with five horses, without a rein or rope between them,” said Emma.
The team is made up of British Bred sports horses, Emma (a six-year-old mare), Becks (seven), Custard (three), Itsie (four) and Albert, a two-year-old miniature Shetland.
