Horse & Country will be showing action from the Equi-Trek Bramham International Horse Trials, with a 90-minute highlights programme sponsored by NAF.
With the eventing calendar devastated by the wet weather this Spring, the three-star competition at Bramham (7-10 June) boasts the biggest and best entry in the event’s 38 year history.
A record 250 horses from 17 nations will head to Yorkshire in a bid to secure a place in history, while some will be hoping to gain coveted Olympic selection.
Leading the home challenge is British trio William Fox-Pitt, Piggy French and Nicola Wilson, who were part of the team who claimed bronze at last year’s European Championships.
Kristina Cook, Sarah Cohen, Zara Phillips and Lucy Wiegersma will all be looking for top performances to try to secure an Olympic place, while Pippa Funnell, Clea Phillipps, Ruth Edge and Polly Stockton are all top Brits who’ve fared well at Bramham before.
H&C's 90-minute highlights programme will feature extensive sportscoverage and behind the scenes interviews with the sport’s top personalities. The show will be presented by Jenny Rudall, with commentary from Ed Holloway and Angus Smales.
Tracey Lloyd, UK Marketing Manager at NAF, said: “Following on from ‘Getting to Greenwich’ and ‘Greenwich: The Interviews’, this is the next step in our strategy of partnering with H&C to bring the UK viewer content that would not otherwise be produced, and creating premium environments in which to showcase our brand.”
Richard Burdett, Managing Director of Horse & Country TV added, “We’re delighted to be working so closely with NAF to bring ever more high quality horse sport coverage to our audience.”
H&C will be showing a 90 minute highlights programme presented by Jenny Rudall and sponsored by NAF. The programme is being produced by Jackie Herd of Cavewood Productions. Watch the show on Thursday 21 June at 6.00pm on Sky 280.
